About

A bit of history

The railway was built to develop the area in the early 1900s. It provided locals with a ‘speedy’ means of transporting their goods to market and to have mail and other items delivered to the townships.

The full line runs from Belgrave to Gembrook, with Emerald roughly half way. Yep, it’s a genuine relic of Victoria’s history. Today, Puffing Billy Railway is a major tourist attraction.

And it’s not just for the kids

Couples can enjoy a classy, mobile dining experience. Great for a special occasion, or just because. Evening dining, Murder Mystery and other trips are available each month too.
