Ferny Hill Retreat’s latest guests, the Kumar family, arrived a little early today and we’d not yet finished cleaning. With stale bread in hand I raced to their car and directed them to the lake on our street where they could feed geese and ducks.
The kids, who had been a bit restless until then, loved this mini-trip (aka distraction) and it gave us the opportunity to finish up. When the Kumars returned and had settled in it was time for a bath. Not seen in this photo are the ever popular rubber duckies.
Mum and Dad are hoping to get the children to sleep early enough tonight so they can plan tomorrow’s explorations and take advantage of the big bath too!
